The rising tide raises all ships, all individual success is a team success and every team success is an individual success. Money must never cause division. If you have an issue, bring it up, we will work it out. Baking more pies for the Team to share is 1000 times more important and productive than fighting over the existing pie. Focus on baking!
Love the Hustle
Success in this business is a direct function of hard work, there are no set work hours, days off or vacation. When things need to get done, get them done or ask for help from the team. Do the things that others are not willing to do. Figure out your “why” and keep it the focus, it will drive you.
Honesty Always
Even if it costs a sale, be honest and look out for the client's best interest. This applies to the members of the team as well. If you have an issue with someone on the Team, talk to them about it. Absolutely no back-channeling or talking behind people's backs.
No Pressure
Clients will buy or sell because they want to, not because we want them to. Pressure should never be necessary if you are honest and working in the client's best interest. We will strongly advise when necessary but never push a client to do something.
Communication is critical
Communication should be clear, concise and timely. If you don't have the answer, respond with what you are doing to find it and when you expect to have it. In today's digital world clients expect information immediately, we will provide that experience.
Be Resourceful
The most important resource we have is resourcefulness. Everything we need to be successful has already been done by someone else. Seek out that information and duplicate it. There are hundreds of ways to succeed, find the way that works for you.
Strive for Efficiency
Work smarter, not harder, use smart systems, improve the systems when needed and look for better ways of doing things. Don't waste time, energy or resources on inefficient activities. Focus on high-payoff activities and tasks. The goal should be to produce more by working less.
Be Accessible
We are never too busy for our clients or our responsibilities. If you are overwhelmed, you are not being successful and the team is failing you. When you need it, the team is here to help. Never use busy as an excuse. If for some reason you are not going to be accessible, make sure you have someone that is that can fill in for you.
Prioritize Constantly
Focus on what is important, don’t let the 20% that does not matter consume 80% of your time. Share your priorities with the team and see if they can contribute. Provide feedback if you see members that may not be prioritizing correctly. We will review priorities, daily, weekly, monthly and long-term, both individually and collectively.
No room for Ego
We use collective language, we, us, our. We project a TEAM image in all that we do. This is important for our clients and potential clients to understand and feel, the only way we ensure this is to believe it.
Take Responsibility
We are the only ones that can be responsible for our success or failure. We do not blame external forces for our outcomes. We are not victims of the market, economy, other's actions or anything else. If we screw up, we will own it.
